VERONIKA BLACHUTA

Trio Parémi

Love and enthusiasm for chamber music and good food connect the cellist Marilies Guschlbauer, flutist Veronika Blachuta and pianist Kasumi Yui. Marilies and Veronika have been playing together since a young age through countless duo projects and international orchestral tours. Kasumi joined in 2019 when the three musicians took their first sip of coffee at the Café Parémi in Vienna – and so “Trio Parémi” was born.

Season highlights of 2020/21 include appearances at the Musikverein Vienna, Musical Summer Festival in Lower Austria and a recital at the Philharmonic Hall in Opole, Poland. They made their debut at the Vienna Konzerthaus in February 2021, supported by the Musica Juventutis Foundation, which was broadcasted on Austrian Radio and as an online stream concert. In 2020 the trio was also scheduled to tour venues such as the Goldegg Castle and Zell am See in Austria, Cultural Forum Warsaw, Philharmonic Hall Kielce and Cieszyn in Poland among others,
organised by the Jeunesse Foundation and the Austrian Cultural Forum.
The ensemble is looking forward to a return in Lower Austria and Poland in Autumn 2021
